Unveiled on the 3rd June 2017. Panasonic has introduced an exciting offering into the super35 sensor world, with some impressive specifications.

The New Panasonic EVA1 5.7K Camera, will feature;

  • Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)
  • ND filter wheel in 2, 4, and 6 stops plus IR filter
  • V-Log and V-Gamut
  • 4K Output HDMI & SDI

  • EVA-1 Codecs.

    At release the EVA1 will support a long-GOP codec but with an imminent firmware release the camera will support all intra-frame codecs with it capable of recording 4K internal at 4:2:2 10-bit at either 100Mbps or 150Mbps and later updates have promised UHD 10-bit at 400Mbs (due early 2018).
